"Random" meeting

So this story actually comes from Keith and his experience on campus this week.

This week on Monday he went sharing on campus with Carolyn (we normally split off two by two on campus, kind of like the animals on Noah's ark). Well as Carolyn tells it, the Holy Spirit must have just whacked him on the head because he didn't say anything to her and then all of a sudden stopped this guy who was walking by. Normally we prefer for people to be sitting down or at least look like they are not in a rush.

Well Keith invited this guy to a 3 on 3 basketball tournament outreach that our ministry is doing on the 21st. Then he told the guy some different things about our ministry and who we were. Urban (sp?) got so excited when he found out that they were Christians. Not always the response we get.

He called himself "a motivated evangical Protestant" and thought it was so cool that they were on campus sharing their faith. He is studying in Nantes and has not been able to get plugged in to a church here yet. He was of African descent but we don't know he was born in France or if he is from Africa. Well anyways, he told them that they were an answer to prayer and is so excited to come to Bibou (our weekly meeting) and Keith's mens Bible study.

Praise God when all we do is step out in faith and He uses us! There are people out there who are ready to hear the gospel and recieve Christ, like Sophie, and others who are looking for Christian community, like Urban.
