The Nations worshiping

What an awesome week this has been! We called it "crazy week" in French and the students really caught on to the idea. Every day we had students come out sharing with us, a few for their first time. A couple days we even had the same number of students as we had staff. The students were so encouraged by each other and the conversations that they had. I met two French students who openly admitted that they were on a spiritual journey. And their journey will take them to of all places San Fransisco next summer. But we talked with them about the possiblity if there could be an end to their spiritual searching and if there was any truth to be found. For the French who have moved so far away from God, just getting them to think that it is possible that God exists and that the gospel might be true is huge!

But we ended our "crazy week" we a spaghetti dinner for the students, a time of sharing about our sharing and extended worship music. It was such an incredible night. One of our students is from England and is leaving to go to Spain today. So another of our students is from New Caledonia, an island by the Fijis. He performed a New Caledonia dance for him. It was a worship dance to God. It was absolutely incredible to watch. We got such a picture of what heaven will be like when all cultures worship God together. I guess I'll be in European-American/European corner, struggling to get our hands above our heads. It definitely expands your view of God when you spend your Friday night worshiping with people from France, Germany, England, Africa, Panama, USA, and New Caledonia.

I included some pictures from last night.
