Hello Everyone, Welcome to our first post. We are very sorry that we have not updated before this. We just got internet in our apartment so we are back and connected to the world. We got internet just in time to watch the Cleveland Indians lose the pennant. That was a sad day here in France for Keith. Overall we are adjusting pretty well. Almost all of our Ikea furniture is built and our curtains are hung (though I was getting very good at shutting the shutters every night). As it feels more like home here, I sometimes forget how far away we really are. Cooking has been a big adjustment for me. I always spend 2 hours at the store and am always going back and forth through the aisles looking for something. It is frustrating when I plan a meal and then I cannot find one or two ingredients that I need. I have realized that I cook American, not French style. I hope by the end of the year that I will be able to cook French style.
